LG UR8000 is one of few basic 4K LED Smart TV series introduced by LG as part of their 2023 TV lineup. We can also find LG UR9000 as one of the other options. LG UR8000 comes with 4K UHD resolution completed with 4K Upscaling to bring excellent picture clarity not only from original 4K content sources but also from non 4K contents that upscaled into near 4K picture quality.
HDR10 and HLG are already supported by LG UR8000 so that we can enjoy enhanced details and expanded contrast from our favorite HDR content sources although limited to HDR10 and HLG HDR contents. α5 AI Processor 4K Gen6 is the picture processor integrated with LG UR8000. It can optimize the color, clarity and contrast of the picture delivered on the screen of this TV.
LG UR8000 comes with 60Hz native refresh rate. It’s indeed quite basic motion images but basically, it’s still able to deliver smooth motion images for our favorite action movies and sports. We can also find that LG UR8000 already supports Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and HGiG as well as NVIDIA Geforce Now and Utomik to bring better gaming experience on the screen of this TV.
WebOS 23 is the operating system integrated with LG UR8000. Other reviewers complain about the viewing angle. They claim it has a VA panel. What is it really and how can I find the actual panel type in the official LG specs?

It’s quite confusing actually. There are few screen size that, previously said, use IPS panel while there are few others that use VA panel.
